Integrated Quality and Environmental Policy

The Industrial Division of Lopesan Group has become aware of the increasing importance being attached in recent times to both product quality and the environment, and has therefore reached the decision to pursue the UNE EN ISO 9001:2008 and UNE EN ISO 14001:2004 International Standards.

The Industrial Division believes that product quality and the efficiency of its processes, coupled with human and technological development, competitiveness and the steady increase experienced in customer satisfaction should all be permanent and overriding company objectives. Fully aware of the environmental impact of its activities, the company has provided a clear indication of its unwavering commitment to environmental protection by tackling this issue via its corporate Policies, which include the new environmental guidelines.

With this in mind, the Management has assumed responsibility for Quality and Environmental Management and, boasting the full cooperation of the managerial team and all the personnel of the Industrial Division, undertakes to meet the following objectives:

  • Ensuring that customer needs are met, increasing customer satisfaction and continuously improving processes and services alike.
  • Complying fully with all legal and regulatory requirements and any others that the company may be subject to, in terms of both quality and the environment, when these apply to the business concerns of the Industrial Division.
  • Preventing contamination by identifying and evaluating the environmental implications of the activities the company carries out.
  • Implementing and applying an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, ideally suited to enhancing the activities performed by the Industrial Division by providing any assets, infrastructures or human resources that may be required in order to ensure that the system is fully effective.
  • Fostering the sustainable use of natural resources, with particular emphasis on energy savings in our business operations and reducing the consumption of raw materials to the fullest extent possible.
  • Planning, establishing and updating objectives and goals in line with this Integrated Policy, and following up on any courses of action intended to attain them.
  • Strengthening responsibility at all levels of the company to enable the Industrial Division to meet its commitment in terms of quality and the environment.
  • Ensuring the competence of our personnel by providing training or other necessary activities, thereby allowing them to comply with the company’s standards of quality, as well as encouraging good environmental practices throughout company operations.
  • Establishing the measures needed to guarantee effective internal and external communication.
  • Working towards full process digitalisation, the ultimate aim being to do away with paper all together.

Interested parties wishing to view our Integrated Policy may do so over the Internet, by e-mail or by visiting our offices in person.

The Integrated Quality and Environmental Policy will be periodically reviewed in order to ensure the continuous improvement of the Industrial Division’s IMS.

Both the Management and the entire organisation of the Industrial Division have adopted the Integrated Policy, thereby classifying quality and responsible environmental management as their permanent and overriding objective.
